In order to analyse legal provisions and share practical experiences, our litigation department continues to host internal seminars. Focus of this workshop was on the appeal as a regular legal remedy, and the appeal procedure itself.
Workshop “Appeal and the appeal procedure” was held by senior partner Miloš V. Milosević, associate Tihomir Vlaović and trainee attorney Darinka Obradović.
This workshop introduced the concept of legal remedies, their division and characteristics, the idea of the appeal against the judgment and against the decision, their characteristics, procedural objections, and reasons why and when the appeal can be filed.
Milos V. Milošević and Tihomir Vlaović also presented real life examples from practice and indicated the most common mistakes made in practice.
At the end of every workshop, the presentation is followed with a Q&A session, aiming to help our colleagues improve their understanding of the topic in question, which will help them prepare for the bar exam.
