GDPR Experiences and its Effect on Direct Marketing and Influencer Advertising

The Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance (“GALA”), an alliance of lawyers located throughout the world with expertise and experience in advertising, marketing and promotion law, has held its annual EMEA Regional Meeting in Budapest, Hungary, on 15th, 16th and 17th September, with Szeckay Attorneys at Law, GALA’s Hungarian members as the host firm and with Živković Samardžić in attendace.

GALA provides a worldwide resource to individuals and corporations interested in answers to questions and solutions to problems involving the complex legal issues affecting advertisers and marketers.

GALA 2018 EMEA Regional Meeting in Budapest Programme included a Seminar on the GDPR experiences and its effect on direct marketing and influencer advertising, where experts from GALA-member law firms presented their veiws on the topics. Among those participating on the panels were GALA experts from Russia, Canada, Netherlands, Slovakia, Germany, United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Hungary Poland, and Dr. Ildikó Fazekas, Secretary General of the Hungarian Self-Regulatory Advertising Board (ÖRT) and a member of the executive committee of the European Advertising Standards Alliance (EASA), as a keynote speaker.

Živković Samardžić was represented at the Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance 2018 EMEA Regional Meeting in Budapest by Slobodan Kremenjak, Partner, GALA Serbia.
