Uros Djordjevic, Partner at Živković Samardžić, participated as a speaker at the “South East Europe Energy Outlook 2025/2026: Study Presentation and Energy Markets Challenges” conference, held in Belgrade on 1 October 2026. The event was organised by the Institute of Energy for South-East Europe (IENE), in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia.

In his presentation on the energy transition from a legal perspective, Uros addressed legal and administrative challenges in renewable energy project development, deadlines and the allocation of responsibility in grid connection procedures, and practical issues in structuring corporate power purchase agreements (CPPAs).

Drawing on examples from practice, he highlighted the importance of legal certainty, coordinated action by the competent authorities and a clear contractual allocation of risk for the successful implementation of energy projects.
