Živković Samardžić represents Oiltanking, the world’s second-largest independent operator of tank terminals for petroleum, chemicals, and gases, as it enters the Serbian market through a joint venture with Serbia’s Public Enterprise Transnafta Pančevo.

On February 20, 2014, Oiltanking signed a EUR 50 million Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Republic of Serbia to build storage facilities and manage emergency oil stocks. The partnership will establish a joint company with Transnafta Pančevo. Serbia’s Minister of Energy, Development, and Environmental Protection, Zorana Mihajlović, emphasized Serbia’se need for an additional 250,000 cubic meters of storage by 2023, on top of the current 716,000 cubic meters.

Oiltanking, a subsidiary of Marquard & Bahls, operates 75 tank terminals in 23 countries across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, India, and Asia, with a total capacity of 23.1 million cubic meters.
