Živković Samardžić, one of Serbia's top independent law firms, has advised South Central Ventures (SCV) on its investment in Drytools, a Novi Sad-based startup specializing in software development tools. Drytools helps startups, product companies, and software consulting firms reduce development costs and time.
SCV, with offices in Belgrade, Zagreb, and Skopje, manages the Enterprise Innovation Fund (ENIF), a EUR 40 million venture capital fund supporting innovative small and medium-sized enterprises in the Western Balkans. Fund investors include the European Commission, European Investment Fund, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, KfW, and private investors. ENIF focuses on early-stage and growth investments, with up to EUR 100,000 allocated for seed-stage investments and up to EUR 3 million for growth-stage investments to fuel the international expansion of promising tech startups.
The Živković Samardžić team advising SCV on this transaction was led by partners Branislav Živković and Slobodan Kremenjak, in cooperation with associates at Živković Samardžić. The firm will continue to support SCV’s investments in small and medium-sized enterprises in Serbia.
