Živković Samardžić advised Fortenova Group in connection with the sale of Dijamant Zrenjanin to MK Group. The transaction is expected to be completed following receipt of the necessary approvals from relevant competition authorities.

Dijamant is one of the leading edible oil producers in Serbia, headquartered in Zrenjanin, with a long-standing tradition and a strong market presence. The company is well known for its broad portfolio of consumer products, including edible oils, margarines, mayonnaise and other food products distributed in Serbia and across the region.

Fortenova Group is a leading regional food and retail group headquartered in Zagreb, with operations across Southeast and Central Europe and a diversified portfolio spanning retail, food production and agriculture.

Živković Samardžić provided legal support to Fortenova Group in relation to the transaction, advising on relevant corporate and competition law aspects.
