Miloš Stojković to speak at the Business Breakfast hosted by the Association of Managers

Serbian Association of Managers (SAM), a business association focused on professional development of managers and the advancement of managerial profession, together with I&F McCANN Grupa, the leading marketing communications network in South East Europe, will be convening advertising industry executives and corporate marketing professionals to a Business Breakfast on 7 April 2016 to discuss challenges and opportunities brought by Serbia’s new Advertising Law effective as of 6 May 2016.

The noteworthy changes to the legal framework for advertising in Serbia will be presented by Vanda Kučera, I&F McCANN Grupa Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and Miloš Stojković, Živković Samardžić Technology, Media and Telecommunications associate. Vanda and Miloš will discuss opportunities created by the liberalization of advertising regime for certain products and speak on the importance of self-regulatory and co-regulatory mechanisms encouraged by the new Advertising Law.

Živković Samardžić is one of the Serbia’s leading full-service independent law firms and is at the forefront of advertising and marketing regulation in Serbia for decades. Miloš Živković, Živković Samardžić of counsel, was one of the authors of Serbian Advertising Law (2005), while Slobodan Kremenjak, Živković Samardžić Technology, Media and Telecommunications partner, took part in the drafting of Serbian Law on Electronic Media (2014), which harmonized rules regulating audiovisual commercial communications in Serbia with the EU Audiovisual Media Services Directive. Lately, Miloš Stojković, Živković Samardžić Technology, Media and Telecommunications associate, was the member of expert group set up by the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications to provide advice and expertise in relation to the preparation of new Advertising Law.

After the Serbian Association of Managers and I&F McCANN Grupa Business Breakfast, Miloš will continue to present Serbia’s new advertising legal framework at the series of events to be hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia on 12 April 2016, the Coca-Cola HBC Serbia on 18 April 2016 and Serbian public service broadcaster RTS, as well as at the MNG Centre’s Annual Advertising and Consumer Protection Conference scheduled for 11 May 2016.
