Živković Samardžić announces promotion of two Partners and two Senior Associates

Živković Samardžić, one of the Serbia’s leading law firms, announces the promotion of two Partners as well as two Senior Associates, effective January 1, 2018. Marko Trišić in the Dispute Resolution Department and Igor Živkovski in the Corporate and M&A Department are promoted to Partners, while Miloš Stojković in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Department and Sava Pavlović in the Corporate and M&A Department are promoted to Senior Associates.

Marko Trišić, Dispute Resolution Partner and a Deputy Head of Živković Samardžić’s Dispute Resolution practice, top-ranked practice in Chambers Europe for the fourth year running and in the Legal 500 Europe. Marko graduated at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law in 2010 and is with Živković Samardžić since 2012, after two years at another reputable law firm in Belgrade. He specializes in Commercial law and Dispute Resolution and was recognized as the ‘next generation lawyer’ by the Legal 500 Europe 2017 for his work on complex commercial disputes and high profile business litigation cases.

 

Igor Živkovski, Corporate and M&A Partner, graduated at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law in 2010 and is with Živković Samardžić since 2013, after six months internship at the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and two years with another reputable law firm in Belgrade. He specializes in Corporate and M&A and is an experienced tax lawyer. Since 2016 Igor holds the position of Vice President of the Foreign Investors Council’s Legal Committee, a body advocating for improvement of the overall legal framework on behalf of Council’s 130 members with investments of EUR 34 billion and 97,500 employees in Serbia.

Miloš Stojković, Technology, Media and Telecommunications Senior Associate, graduated at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law in 2007 and is with Živković Samardžić since 2012, after a four-year stint with the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Society, where he was a Legal Advisor and a Head of Regulatory Department in the Sector for Electronic Communications. He currently serves as a Board Member of the Belgrade Centre for Human Rights, one of the most important and most influential non-governmental organizations in Serbia and a Head of the AmCham Digital Economy Platform’s Regulatory Stream, AmCham Serbia’s body focused on initiating and supporting regulatory changes enabling smooth transition of Serbian economy towards digital technologies.

Sava Pavlović, Corporate and M&A Senior Associate, joined Živković Samardžić in 2013, after graduating at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law earlier in the same year. While at the University, he was a member of the 2011 Monroe E. Price International Media Moot Court Competition overall wining team. Before joining Živković Samardžić Sava was an intern at the Directorate for Digital Agenda. With Živković Samardžić he specializes in Corporate and M&A and advises clients on a broad array of complex corporate and transactional issues.
