Forum “Law graduates at work, choose your career” held within the Job Fair at the Faculty of Law

At the end of April, the auditorium of the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, hosted a forum on the subject “Law graduates at work, choose your career” featuring the lectures of Ana Popović, Partner and Head of Employment at the law firm Živković Samardžić, Ivana Josifović, President of the Board of the Association of Judges and Public Prosecutors of Serbia and Judge of the Basic Court in Novi Sad. 

Participants of the forum “Law graduates at work” spoke about their careers, professional challenges they have faced, interesting cases from practical experience, but also indicated to the students the possibilities they have as young law graduates. 

The forum represented the introduction to the Job Fair organized by the European Association of Law Students and Young Law Graduates (local group ELSA Belgrade) intended for students of final years at law faculties and law graduates, aimed at providing them with opportunities for employment and professional internships at the most renowned law offices and firms in the country. 

“We at Živković Samardžić Law Office provide an opportunity to trainee attorneys at law to learn and to express themselves. Today, here, at Faculty of Law, in this excellent interaction with students, I can contribute and open new opportunities for the all of them, but also to explain what does mean to be attorney at law. Živković Samardžić Law Office will present its work and 20th year of experience at this upcoming fair. Every year, our law office, engage trainee attorneys at law and offer them challenging work and practice, as well as comprehensive training and an opportunity to work with and learn from experienced colleagues”, said Ana Popović, Partner and Head of Employment at Živković Samardžić.

The fourth consecutive Job Fair “Law graduates at work” will be held from 8-10th of May, between 11 am and 3 pm in the hall of the Faculty of Law, where our law firm will also be presented.
